Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care on the Mother/Baby unit, managing a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes. Prioritize evidence-based practice and patient wellness while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Provide top-of-scope nursing care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality at the point of care. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within three years of hire, RN licensure, and one year of nursing experience. Must hold EFM certification within one year, NRP, and current BLS/CPR cards. Full-time night shift with 72 hours per pay period; pay ranges from $40.86 to $63.33 per hour with a quarterly night shift incentive.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program within three years of assuming the Charge RN position
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 1 year of nursing experience
- EFM within 1 year
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
