Job Summary
Coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care for patients on the 12-bed Pulmonary Unit, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care while maintaining standards of practice. Provide clinical care as needed when census demands, serving as a resource for guidance and assistance to staff. Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to appropriate leaders. Work full-time nights (7pm-7am) in the state-of-the-art Main Tower, collaborating closely with hospitalists, pulmonologists, and respiratory therapists for acute and chronic respiratory issues. A sign-on bonus and specialty differential are available. Requires current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC, BLS certification, and one year of hospital nursing experience. Bachelor's degree and two years of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
- Demonstrated clinical competency
