Job Summary
Charge Nurse role overseeing direct patient care and nursing staff; provide and evaluate patient care plans, administer medications, monitor vital signs, collaborate with physicians, assist in developing policies and procedures, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide education and support to patients and families. Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care principles
- Proficiency in case management and medical office procedures
- Experience with vital signs monitoring, cardiac catheterization, sterile processing, and administering injections
- Familiarity with tube feeding, gastric lavage, and coding practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
