Job Summary
Provide direct patient care and oversee the nursing staff; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans; administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians; monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information; collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care; assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures; ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards; provide education and support to patients and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Proven experience as a Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care principles
- Proficiency in case management and medical office procedures
- Experience with vital signs monitoring, cardiac catheterization, sterile processing, and administering injections
- Familiarity with tube feeding, gastric lavage, and coding practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
