Charge Nurse - LVN/RN at Orange

Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practices. Lead or direct licensed and non-professional staff in the delivery of direct resident care and support functions. Ensure resident safety by planning, organizing, and directing nursing functions while making assignments appropriate to the skill level of employees. Accurately implement physician orders, document nursing history, perform basic assessments, and record vital signs. Identify problems, guide personnel to solutions, and enforce infection-control policies. Maintain professional confidentiality, communicate with patients and families, and respond appropriately in urgent or emergency situations. Utilize electronic medical record charting and adhere to established policies and procedures. Accept accountability for clinical care of assigned patients, including supervision of nonprofessional personnel.
