Job Summary
Direct care teams by guiding Nurse Aides and administering resident medications as prescribed. Execute care plans in compliance with policies and physician orders while performing treatments and transcribing orders. Maintain accurate documentation in resident charts and complete nursing assessments. Collaborate during shift reports to ensure care continuity and educate support staff on policies. Promote safety by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures. Address staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary. This role requires an RN or LVN in good standing with strong communication and assessment skills. Full-time coverage includes health, dental, vision, and 401(k) eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing
- Demonstrates excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
- Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to organize workflows effectively
- Responds efficiently to emergencies and pays attention to detail in all tasks
