Job Summary
Charge Nurse (LPN/RN) overseeing day-to-day nursing operations on the assigned unit, supervising CNAs and nursing staff, administering medications and treatments, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care per care plans, monitoring resident conditions and communicating changes to physicians and the care team, coordinating admissions, discharges, and transitions of care, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Leads with strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills to promote teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care. Requires active South Carolina LPN or RN license and CPR certification; continuing education and good standing with the State Board of Nursing are required; PCC experience and prior charge nurse/leadership experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered LPN or RN license in South Carolina (required)
- Current CPR certification required
- Must maintain all continuing education and remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) preferred
- Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred
