Job Summary
Charge Nurse - LPN supervises the day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs, administers medications, and coordinates nursing services to ensure high-quality resident care. Directs nursing operations, participates in interdisciplinary care planning, maintains compliance with regulations, and supports QA, staff development, and performance improvement. The role includes supervising CNAs, planning staffing, ensuring proper documentation and medication administration, and contributing to a positive, compliant, and patient-centered care environment. Must hold an Ohio LPN license and have clinical experience, EMR proficiency preferred, with supervisory experience preferred. Office location: Swan Creek, Ohio. Full-time position with additional responsibilities across nursing operations and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered license for the state of Ohio to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- One year of clinical experience in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related health care facility.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Supervisory experience in a long-term care, hospital, or other related healthcare setting preferred.
