Job Summary
Supervise CNAs and provide direct patient care in accordance with state, federal, and MFA Nursing Policies and Procedures. Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans, identify patient goals and approaches, resolve patient and family concerns, and summarize concerns for the Clinical Unit Manager. Requires a current Virginia Board of Nursing license, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and regulatory agents. Full-time employment with a competitive rate of pay, comprehensive benefits including health and dental insurance within 60-90 days, paid time off, holiday extra pay, and a 401k with company match. Located in Roanoke, Virginia.
Required Qualifications
- Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
- Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
- Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
