Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, prioritizing a multidisciplinary team approach and evidence-based practice. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education for competency validation. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while supporting wellness and patient perspective. This onsite night shift role at UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora requires a BSN within three years of hire, active RN licensure, and current BLS/NRP certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program within three years of assuming the Charge RN position
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- 1 year of nursing experience
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
