Charge Nurse ICU

Oversee the efficient functioning of the Intensive Care Unit by coordinating patient flow, assigning duties based on skill and load, and managing the nursing team. Provide direct communication regarding unanticipated patient care events and risk management activities while assessing patient care delivery and documentation quality. Ensure proper use and functionality of supplies and equipment, collaborate with department managers for smooth service coordination, and interview patients and families on admission and during rounds. May perform direct patient care within scope of practice and clinical competency.
