Job Summary
Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor residents' vital signs while documenting progress and reporting changes to the Director of Nursing. Assist in developing individualized care plans, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team. Adhere to facility policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards while providing emotional support and education to residents and their families. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and therapists to deliver coordinated care in a skilled nursing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN/LVN license in Nebraska
- Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and move patients
- Ability to perform physical assessments
- Ability to administer medications
- Ability to provide wound care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting
