Job Summary
Charge Nurse providing clinical supervision to the nursing staff within the Crisis Care Center, serving as lead resource for nursing personnel, coordinating care through staff assignments and scheduling, guiding crisis care services, coordinating staffing and on-call coverage, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering staff education and process-improvement initiatives. Works with an interdisciplinary team to improve productivity, efficiency, and care outcomes; supports the Site Director; maintains 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 unit; requires an active Michigan RN license and BLS (ACLS preferred).
Required Qualifications
- Two (2) years of full-time paid experience as an RN
- A valid State of Michigan clinical licensure: RN
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
- Associate degree required, BSN preferred
- Experience with crisis care operations and supervisory responsibilities
