Job Summary
Maintain accurate patient records, monitor vital signs, and lead nursing staff through supervision and duty assignment. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges while communicating patient status to the Unit Manager and doctors. Foster a collaborative environment by guiding staff, providing family support, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Respond swiftly to emergencies, update protocols, and keep operational reports current. This role requires an RN or LPN licensed in New York State with BLS certification, working 8am-4pm five days a week with rotating weekends. Required Qualifications
- Rotating weekends required
- Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in New York State OR Currently is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in New York State
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Has knowledge of Federal and State health regulations
- Experience with care plans and strong documentation skills
- BLS Certification
- RN License
