Job Summary
Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care to inpatient adults with mental or behavioral health issues, including depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse, and mood disorders. Function as an advisor, resource, and leader for the patient care team while assessing patient status in the 4A unit, Behavioral Health Unit, or ER crisis pods. Utilize strong organizational and leadership skills to manage a 12-bed or 23-bed census. Maintain a Maryland Registered Nurse License, BLS Certification, and 1-3 years of clinical specialty experience. Join a cross-trained nursing staff supporting LifeBridge Health's mission to improve community health through compassionate, high-quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
- 2 or more years of experience in clinical specialty
- Nursing Certification of specialty area within 3-5 years of hire
- 1-3 years of experience
- Maryland Registered Nurse License
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- Registered Nurse License
- 1-3 years
