Charge Nurse on 5W Acute Care Medicine providing front-line nursing leadership with a focus on patient care coordination, documentation, and collaboration with the patient care team. Responsible for overseeing care plans, ensuring safety and confidentiality, supporting performance improvement initiatives, mentoring and precepting staff, fostering professional development, and promoting patient- and family-centered care within the unit. Must maintain professional licenses and certifications and participate in shared governance activities as part of the role.
