Job Summary
Registered Nurse Charge Nurse responsible for leading patient care and care coordination on a 5W Acute Care Medicine unit during night shift. Role emphasizes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, mentoring and precepting staff, pursuing performance improvement initiatives, maintaining professional competence, upholding confidentiality and safety, and supporting shared governance. Requires current RN licensure (SC or multi-state compact) and BLS certification; advanced nursing degree(s) are reflected in education requirements. Located in North Augusta, SC with in-person duties on the night shift within Wellstar Health System.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure (SC or multi-state Compact)
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) or BLS-Instructor certification
- Associates Nursing or Bachelors Nursing or Masters Nursing
- Active nursing license upon hire
- Night shift availability
