Job Summary
Charge Nurse (Full-Time, M-F) provides nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients in the unit. Requires a current RN or LPN license. Responsibilities include assessing patients, recording vital signs, implementing physicians' orders, developing care plans, maintaining infection-control standards, documenting nursing history, and communicating with patients, families, and other health-care staff. Supervises nonprofessional personnel, ensures resident safety, and adheres to professional standards and confidentiality. Strong organizational, clinical, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license
- Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal or written instructions in English
- Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Ability to be flexible and positive with intermittent interruptions
