Job Summary
Lead workflow of the department as a Full-Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist. Responsibilities include staff scheduling & training, updating scanner protocols and performing quality checks, handling order and authorization verification, MRI safety screening, and direct patient care with a focus on MRI safety. Serves as the clinical resource and mentor for technologists, oversees shift operations, problem-solves imaging issues, and acts as liaison to the supervisor. Requires Associate degree or trade school equivalency, ARRT RT(R) certification, MRI/Charge experience, and 2 years of experience; role supports mid-day shift in a hospital imaging department.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- MRI/Charge experience
- RT(R), MR or equivalent
- ASRT, ARRT RT, MR
- 2 years’ experience
