Job Summary
Charge Integrity Analyst at Medical Center (Perioperative Core) is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and correcting patient billing documentation in the hospital billing system; serves as liaison to disseminate and collaborate essential billing information with patient billing office, medical records, and patient data supervisor; responds to and corrects billing issues in a timely manner; emphasizes strong customer service, professional communication, and attention to detail while supporting the hospital’s values. Requires knowledge of medical terminology, proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook, ability to read and write in English, manage multiple assignments, work under pressure, and collaborate with a culturally diverse workforce. Position is full-time and day shift, located in Loma Linda, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience in a healthcare environment
- Minimum three years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably with billing and auditing
- Minimum six months of coding experience
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Certified Professional Coder Certification (CPC) preferred
