Job Summary
Accompany testators through their legacy planning journey, from initial documentation to formalizing wills, while managing personalized long-term relationships through calls, home visits, and field trips. Pilot annual fundraising campaigns targeting high-net-worth individuals, organize private donor events, and conduct prospect research to prioritize outreach. Coordinate with marketing and legal teams to deploy the legacy strategy, ensure ethical compliance, and facilitate the realization of donor wishes. Work closely with the Lyon-based binôme to segment databases and tailor communications. Multiple business trips are required to meet testators and donors.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in testator relations and with major donors
- Experience in one-to-one client relations / major account management with a senior audience
- Experience in a notary study or private banking / wealth management / insurance sector
- Legal and tax knowledge regarding wealth transmission
- Communication, fundraising, marketing and/or event skills
- Good knowledge of senior concerns, general culture and strong interest in international solidarity, generosity and wealth transmission
- Relational qualities allowing comfort with very different publics: testators, major donors, wealth management intermediaries
- Taste for human relations, real listening quality and empathy necessary to establish trust relationships with interlocutors
- Solid mental strength and great maturity to face painful events following the deaths of interlocutors
- Organized, proactive and team player
- Rigorous and autonomous
- Must be available for multiple trips to meet testators and patrons and organize events for them
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the public interest sector
- English language skills to understand internal project content and dialogue with colleagues abroad
