Job Summary
Project engineering leadership role implementing Airbus Canada's engineering project management vision for the A220 program. Develop detailed engineering project plans for configuration-change management, interface with multiple internal/external functions and suppliers, identify risks/issues, prepare weekly/monthly reports, build a cross-functional network to apply Airbus standards and best practices, and drive continuous improvement within a hybrid work model in Mirabel, Quebec.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum eight (8) years of engineering experience in technical project management
- Understanding of configuration management, change management, and DAO certification requirements
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize
- Ability to lead and inspire a cross-functional team
- Proficiency in English and French (oral and written)
- Ability to simplify complex issues and summarize risks/actions
- Initiative, responsibility, and sound engineering judgment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder influence
- Ability to deliver commitments and influence decisions
