Job Summary
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (MRI, CT, IVR, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment; assists in prioritizing patient care, mentors staff, oversees shift operations, and serves as clinical liaison to supervisor while maintaining proper supplies and equipment, with responsibilities including problem-solving, difficult exams, and ensuring effective communication and escalations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- 2 years experience
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES
