Charge CT Advanced Radiology Technologist (Barnes)

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (MRI, CT, IVR, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Cath) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, with quality control. Assists staff technologist in prioritizing and problem-solving patient care or imaging issues, delegates tasks to ensure proper daily operations, and assumes supervisory responsibilities in their absence. Supports student/new employee training and provides mentorship to advanced modality technologists. Prepares patient and equipment for procedures, performs studies independently (including on-call situations and portable exams), and oversees shift operations, including daily workflow and equipment IT tickets. Serves as clinical resource and liaison between the team and supervisor, maintaining supplies and ensuring effective communication. Requires two years of radiology experience and CT/advanced imaging proficiency; education includes an Associate degree or equivalent, and ARRT radiography certification.
