Charge CT Advanced Radiology Technologist (Barnes)

Job Summary
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (CT among MRI, CT, IVR, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Serves as clinical resource and mentor to technologists, delegates tasks to ensure proper daily operations, and assumes supervisor responsibilities in absence. Prepares patient and equipment, performs studies independently including portable exams and on-call as required, and helps coordinate workflow with the supervisor, while supporting training of students and new employees.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
- 2 years experience
- Experience in Leads/ supervisory roles or senior tech positions (as listed in job description)
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI; RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES
