Job Summary
Lead a team of 8-10 engineers by setting objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and providing regular feedback to drive optimal employee performance. Define requirements for the Inside Business Portal platform and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions while managing risks and mitigating project bottlenecks. Partner with stakeholders to plan the agile backlog, implement continuous improvement opportunities, and foster cross-team collaboration for enhanced application resilience. Mentor engineers, handle recruitment and onboarding, and maintain alignment with company policies and compliance modules.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in IT or engineering
- 10+ years of IT experience, including leadership roles
- Strong engineering foundation with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs design and implementation
- knowledge about SOAP
- Skilled in modern architecture, DevOps, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift)
- Experience with SRE tooling (Grafana, Prometheus), integration (Kafka, JMS, MQ), testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber), and databases (Oracle, Hibernate, ElasticSearch)
- Previous coordination role with the ability to build teams from scratch
- Proven experience and expertise in delivering high quality enterprise applications

- Demonstrates independent thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing business priorities and new requirements
- Professional maturity and responsibility
- In depth knowledge of industry standard best practices, development lifecycle processes and methodologies
- Thorough understanding of quality management
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, high productivity environment
- Action-oriented, decisive approach to work required, with the willingness to take a hands-on role to ensure deliverables are met on time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript) will be appreciated
- Experience using agile methodology is a plus
