Job Summary
Chaplain providing compassionate pastoral care to patients and families, crisis ministry, and collaboration with care teams to deliver holistic, patient-centered spiritual care. Requires Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and professional certification; on-call with evenings and weekends. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s Degree in Divinity/Theology (or equivalent) preferred; certified or certification eligible with APC/NACC/NAJC/ACPE within three years. On-site role at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati, OH with full-time schedule including on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Master's Degree of Divinity, Theology, or equivalency (acknowledged by APC, NACC, NAJC or ACPE) (Preferred)
- Clinical Pastoral Education (Required)
- 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education
- 3 - 4 years’ experience Professional in Chaplaincy (Required)
- 2 - 3 years desired outside of training; Clinical Pastoral Education (Preferred)
- Certified or meets a certification committee within three years by APC, NACC, NAJC or ACPE Required
