Job Summary
Provide spiritual care to patients and families, including assessment and documentation in the Electronic Health Record. Fulfill ACPE CPE program requirements and participate in interdisciplinary rounds with healthcare team members. Respond to emergency spiritual care needs as an on-call chaplain while providing emotional and spiritual support to hospital employees. Comply with departmental policies, procedures, and record keeping. This full-time, limited-term position begins August 17, 2026, with a varied schedule including rotating weekends and as-needed coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be accepted in the Sutter ACPE CPE program
- Must maintain concurrent enrollment with ACPE as a CPE Student
- Must be available for varied schedule
- Must be available for full time shift hours
- Must be available for 8 days of the week
- Must be available for variable weekends
- Must be available for as needed rotating weekends
