Job Summary
Provide spiritual support to patients, families, and staff in a healthcare setting. Conduct spiritual assessments, crisis intervention, and visits to patients and families across Vail Health locations. Offer compassionate, culturally respectful care, respond to trauma activations and Code Blue calls, and be available as an on-call chaplain (PRN). Requires ordained status and seminary/graduate-level theological training; responsibilities include rounds, patient/family engagements, documenting services, and collaboration with physicians, staff, and volunteers.
Required Qualifications
- Ordained or endorsed by a recognized religious body required
- Completion of one unit of an approved Clinical Pastoral Education program preferred
