Job Summary
Chaplain - PRN to join Denver Health’s Pastoral Care and Education team. Provides interfaith spiritual care to patients, families and staff in trauma, crisis, illness, and medical treatment, including 24/7 coverage as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Duties include performing spiritual assessments, documenting in the electronic medical record, participating in inpatient rounds and family conferences, mentoring student chaplains, contributing to performance improvement and department initiatives, and offering care to employees through RESTORE peer support and psychological first aid when needed. Requires a Masters degree in theology/divinity and 1 unit of CPE; Board Certified Chaplain credentials preferred; shift is PRN/Intermittent with Spanish language skills preferred and EPIC documentation proficiency. Required Qualifications
- Masters level degree from an accredited theological or divinity school
- 1 Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required
- Licenses: BCC-Board Certified Chaplain - APC, SCA, NAJC, NACC, or equivalent preferred
