Job Summary
Chaplain Inpatient provides pastoral and spiritual care as part of an interdisciplinary team, focusing on the spiritual needs of patients, families, caregivers and staff, including volunteers. Responsibilities include delivering pastoral care interventions and counseling guided by spiritual assessments, values and religious orientations. Requires ordination or commission with endorsement; 5 years of pastoral experience preferred (including clinical setting) and Clinical Pastoral Education (1 unit minimum, preferably 2) from recognized programs; ability to work within a healthcare team and commit to professional growth. Education credentials include a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Divinity or equivalent graduate degree from an ATS-accredited seminary or theological school. EO E/AA M/F/D/V.
