Job Summary
Conduct spiritual assessments and offer pastoral care aligned with the unique beliefs of each patient and family. Visit patients regularly to provide compassionate care, prayer, and support for birthdays and special moments. Facilitate connections with community clergy and religious organizations to ensure access to faith-based support. Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Conduct or assist with memorial and funeral services as requested.
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in English & Spanish
- Master's degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field
- Experience in Healthcare or Hospice - Two or more years in a similar role
- Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Training - At least one unit completed
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Compassionate and Authentic Presence
