Job Summary
Provide spiritual care and emotional support to patients, families, and staff through regular rounding, clinical assignments, and responding to hospital codes. Deliver grief counseling for deceased patients' families and coordinate decedent care, including body transport and next-of-kin contact for ED arrivals. Facilitate staff support via organized programs and critical incident debriefings while collaborating with visiting clergy and spiritual caregivers. Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision across assigned clinical areas and throughout the hospital. Participate in pastoral and administrative duties as assigned under the clinical manager's direction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Masters of Theology or Equivalent, or in the process of obtaining a Master's Degree
- Minimum of 4 completed units of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE preferred)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
