Job Summary
Channel Manager is responsible for proactively generating revenue from business products and services through partner relationships in the Telecommunications industry. Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners; provide comprehensive support and training to ensure partners can effectively promote and sell products and services. Maintain detailed sales forecasts monthly and quarterly. Communicate regularly with partners to uncover and qualify opportunities. Partner with internal teams on the development and implementation of partner programs, including training, marketing initiatives and incentives. Measure and report on channel partner performance using key metrics such as sales and revenue. Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote products and services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in channel management or sales, preferably in the Telecommunications industry
- Proven prospecting, networking, and business development skills
- Knowledge of Ethernet, IP, and related technologies such as SD-WAN and security
- Proficient with CRM applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven record of developing and maintaining strong partner relationships
- Strong negotiation, presentation and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt to ever changing schedules and priorities
