Job Summary
Channel Developer, On-Premise responsible for driving commercial performance across a territory for a portfolio of spirit brands. Focus on identifying growth opportunities within the on-premise landscape, translating market intelligence into actionable business solutions, engaging accounts to drive brand presence and velocity, and collaborating with agency resources to support market growth. Key activities include leveraging market insights, planning and implementing brand engagement, tracking performance data, budgeting and expense management, POS/asset and warehouse management, and serving as a liaison between portfolio, distributor, and customers. Ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of liquor regulations, strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to travel nights/weekends, and a willingness to grow knowledge in spirits history and cocktail culture. Base compensation$65k-$80k annually with bonus eligibility and full benefits; remote work option available and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in bev-alc industry
- Distributor or broker experience is a plus
- Bar/restaurant/hotel operator experience a plus
- Knowledge of liquor laws, regulations, and rules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Persuasive selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to tailor communications for a variety of on-premise environments
- Ability to travel nights and weekends
- Must have access to reliable transportation to travel to and from accounts
- Bilingual (English and Spanish-speaking) a plus
- Desire for mentorship and willingness to contribute to team culture
- Strong budget management skills
