Job Summary
Channel Developer, Off-Premise drives commercial performance across an off-premise territory for a large portfolio of spirit brands using strategic business solutions and hospitality industry know-how. Responsibilities include legal/compliance adherence, customer engagement to grow brand presence and velocity, planning and tracking brand and portfolio engagement with performance data, analyzing consumer trends to inform customer engagement sessions, identifying merchandising opportunities, managing agency initiatives (budget/expense reporting), and serving as a liaison between portfolio, distributor, manager, and customers. The role emphasizes learning about spirits across categories, delivering program activities, and communicating progress to internal and client partners. Requires minimum 3 years Bev-Alc experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to travel and work flexible hours, and a willingness to contribute to team culture; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $72,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility and full benefits; remote work option available in some contexts, with in-person duties in Naperville, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the bev-alc industry
- Knowledge of liquor laws, regulations, and rules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Persuasive selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to tailor communications for a variety of on-premise environments
- Strong budget management skills
- Ability to work remotely
- Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards
