Job Summary
Sector Lead for Financial Services on the Channel & Customer Research team responsible for building and maintaining CCR coverage across financial services including insurance, banking, and fintech. Lead development of channel check frameworks, expert sourcebase strategy, and structured questionnaires to generate trackable insights. Guide a team of analysts in conducting structured channel checks, expanding coverage across value chains (brokers, agents, lenders, ISVs, payment ecosystems). Design and scale primary research workflows ensuring high-quality outputs, regulatory awareness, and end-user value. Serve as primary domain expert for Financial Services, coordinating project setup, questionnaire development, expert sourcing, and research quality oversight, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine frameworks and expand CCR coverage.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, consulting, or a related analytical role, with exposure to Financial Services (banking, insurance, fintech)
- strong domain knowledge of Financial Services including business models and core investment debates across lending, deposits, payments, underwriting, and financial technology
- experience designing primary research frameworks and questionnaires for channel checks or expert interviews
- highly analytical and intellectually curious with ability to quickly develop expertise across new companies and subsectors
- ability to work cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and analysts to ensure feasible, well-structured projects
