Job Summary
As a Channel Account Manager, you will drive partner attainment against annual goals and manage significant territory growth. Key responsibilities include leading business planning, managing deal registration and pipeline development, negotiating terms with partners, and enabling partners to implement Rapid7 solutions. You will also collaborate with sales leadership for reporting and insights regarding partners. The role requires 4+ years of channel management experience, the ability to negotiate and present value effectively, and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of channel management experience
- Proven track record in exceeding sales quotas and targets
- Ability to manage both a territory and named focused partners
- Ability to present value and negotiate deals with decision makers
- Direct sales experience a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of the channel sales model
- Knowledge of the security industry and competitors
- Ability to present effectively in front of audiences
