Changeover Laborer

Job Summary
Assist with event setup and breakdown, including placement and removal of chairs, tables, risers, stages, stanchions, podiums, and other equipment. Build and dismantle concert stages, install and remove hockey dashers and glass, and set up sporting equipment as needed. Read and interpret event floor plans to ensure accurate setups, operate forklifts and pallet jacks if certified, and safely use hand tools. Maintain a safe work environment by reporting accidents or safety concerns immediately and assist with general facility upkeep. Work part-time, event-based shifts at SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH, often during overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, mid-shifts, early mornings and holidays, as needed
- Must have professional attitude and appearance
- Medium lifting up to 65Ibs without assistance
- Ability to stand in the work area while performing tasks
- walking and standing for most of the assigned shifts
- bending and stooping at times is required
- Tasks may be performed in adverse conditions at times (loud noise, dust, inclement weather and movement of vehicles)
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience with similar functions desirable
- Licensed and Qualified forklift/platform lift operations desirable
- Experience working in event venues, arenas, or guest services is a plus
