Job Summary
Setup and conversion of Cabarrus Arena & Events Center for events, including moving tables, chairs, walls, stages, and equipment. Perform facility maintenance tasks like loading/unloading trucks, cleaning, painting, and patching. Transport trash, recycling, and supplies while reporting property damage or safety concerns to the Conversion Manager. Requires high school diploma, reliable transportation, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Forklift and aerial lift experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long hours
- Must be able to walk extensively
- Must be able to push and/or pull wheeled carts
- Must be able to work under adverse indoor/outdoor conditions and exposure to dust, dirt, and cleaning agents
- Must be able to move around the facility
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand/eye coordination
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form
- Must be able to work independently, exercising judgement and initiative
- Must be able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule
- Must be able to produce accurate results
- Must be able to remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur
- Must be able to report irregularities, discrepancies, damage, and loss of property and safety concerns promptly to supervisor
- Must be able to use appropriate equipment and supplies to clean and maintain the facility
Desired Qualifications
- Operations worker experience is preferred
- Forklift, aerial work platform, scissor lift experience is preferred
