Job Summary

Hybrid Change Management Analyst in Columbus, OH responsible for enabling the enterprise Change Management strategy through integrated communication, training, and change activities. Partners with program teams to design and deliver communications, training, engagement materials, and enablement strategies; develops change plans, stakeholder analysis, and metrics to assess readiness, adoption, and effectiveness across multiple implementation areas; builds alignment with leaders, project teams, and end-users, and translates change impacts into targeted materials to support adoption and business readiness. Must collaborate with Change Management Lead and SMEs to ensure accurate inputs, maintain records of activities, and coordinate engagement events while leveraging strong business judgment and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, ability to work in a matrixed environment, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years experience in change management-related programs (stakeholder assessment, change impact analysis, digital communication and engagement, training support and business readiness) or other highly valuable or relevant experience
  • Change Management Expertise
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Leadership & Ways of Working: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with and through others
  • Ability to include others and drive alignment toward a common vision or goal
  • Experience navigating in matrixed environments
  • Strong reliability, being able to follow-through on commitments and highly accountable
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytic and decision-making abilities; ability to interpret data and work with analytic models and advanced technologies, including data reporting and data visualization
  • Technical Skills: Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Nice to Have: Instructional Design Certifications; Experience using video editing software; Experience using training development tools such as Captivate, Articulate
  • As a public utility, NiSource is required to provide continuous service to customers at all times, may be required to work outside normal hours and perform tasks outside normal responsibilities
