Chairside Dental Assistant

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays), prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments, maintain infection control, help patients feel comfortable before/during/after treatment, provide oral hygiene instructions, take impressions for study casts, create, send, and track lab cases, monitor and manage dental supplies budget, perform office management tasks on a computer, update and maintain patient records/charts, maintain equipment and coordinate repairs, obtain medical history and vital signs as needed, and ensure OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
