Job Summary
Chairperson, Pediatrics Department for NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Lead clinical and academic pediatric services across Jacobi Medical Center and NC Bronx, overseeing ~100 physicians, 44 physician assistants and nurse practitioners, 45 pediatric residents and 7 fellows. Collaborate with Albert Einstein College of Medicine and CUNY; support an independent Pediatric Residency Program; drive recruitment/retention to ensure 24x7x365 coverage; oversee expansion and post-partum unit growth; address healthcare disparities with a focus on dignity and equity. Board certified in pediatrics with an active NYS medical license; minimum 3 years of leadership experience; eligible for Associate Professor academic title. The role is a leadership, teaching, and clinical oversight position within a major public health system.
