Job Summary
Chairperson, Emergency Medicine to provide complete operational, clinical, and academic oversight of the department; collaborate with service line leadership on recruiting, finance, and business development; promote a positive, inclusive culture; champion diversity, equity, and inclusion; lead with ED programs, stroke/comprehensive center designations, and interdepartmental collaboration; oversee staffing with EM physicians and EM advanced practice providers; interact with hospital leadership and cross-functional teams to advance strategic goals; implement engagement initiatives and oversee education and residency programs.
Required Qualifications
- Physician leadership
- Board-certified in Emergency Medicine or equivalent
- MD/DO or equivalent medical degree
- Experience in academic hospital settings preferred
