Academic Chair of Plastic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, part of Northwell Health, is a full-time leadership role overseeing the Department of Plastic Surgery. Responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight for all employed and independent physicians, maintaining an active clinical practice, driving departmental growth, quality, patient safety, and operational excellence, advancing program development and service line expansion, supporting education initiatives for Plastic Surgery residents and fellows, and partnering with hospital and system leadership on administrative and financial priorities. The ideal candidate will hold an MD or DO, Board Certification in Plastic Surgery, be eligible for unrestricted NY licensure, demonstrate substantial leadership experience in an academic or clinically integrated health system, and have a track record of clinical excellence, physician engagement, and program growth; experience with graduate medical education and mentorship is preferred.
