Job Summary
Chair, Musculoskeletal Service Line in the Department of Orthopedics at Catholic Health. Leads the department’s clinical, educational, and research missions across six hospitals and ambulatory sites; oversees personnel, finances, space, and program operations; drives clinical operations, business development, education, clinical productivity, and research growth; fosters collaboration with CH leadership and physicians; accountable for recruitment strategy, protocol development, COEs, and alignment with system-wide strategic priorities; supports academic appointments and continued advancement of Musculoskeletal Orthopedics within CH; reports to CH Chief Clinical Officer and CH Chief Operating Officer; clinical emphasis with significant administrative duties and potential for administrative stipends; base salary range $850K+ with comprehensive benefits; potential for professional development within a large healthcare system.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and medical licensure
- Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Experience in physician leadership and department-level management
- Ability to develop and oversee recruitment, education, and research programs
- Ability to develop evidence-based protocols and COEs across multiple hospitals
