Chain Account Specialist (Food Broker)

Job Summary
Develop and execute a customized business selling strategy for assigned multi-unit chain restaurant accounts; establish relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers using a consultative selling approach; prospect and hunt for new business within a defined South Florida territory with support from Marketing and a Business Intelligence resource; influence key decision-makers and build trust with multi-unit restaurant chains; maintain understanding of differentiators and competitive landscape; create solutions for restaurant chefs/culinarians and on-site operators; collaborate with local market leadership and cross-functional sales support to drive market penetration; manage pipeline, forecast sales activity, and update CRM; travel daily by personal vehicle; demonstrate ability to prepare or learn how to prepare food products and design menu combinations in support of the selling cycle; health/retirement/stock plans provided by employer as part of benefits; Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years foodservice sales experience
- More than 3 years supporting National Accounts
- Sales/Business Development experience calling on key accounts, market prospecting, and sales pipeline management
- Discipline: ability to develop, execute, and follow a sales plan
- Influence Without Authority: communicator that can influence change in others
- Relationships: positive professional with a pro-active attitude that connects
- Teamwork: ability to partner with diverse teams and the teachability to learn from others
- Driver’s License: daily travel by personal vehicle; clean Motor Vehicle Record
