Job Summary
Radiologic Technologist needed at Chai Urgent Care to perform and analyze patient X-rays, prepare patients for radiologic procedures, maintain equipment and records, ensure safety and comfort, and collaborate with providers; requires ARRT certification, NY State license, and high school diploma or equivalent. Part-time schedule for Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8am to 4pm, with duties including patient preparation, imaging, documentation, inventory, and maintaining exam rooms.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school degree or equivalent
- ARRT or equivalent
- NY State License
- Current with continuing education requirements for the ARRT
- Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and protocols
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology necessary to perform X-Ray testing including body mechanics and movement
- Knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology
- Ability to apply written instructions and standardized work practices
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and families
- Able to withstand physical & mental demands: standing, walking, stooping, bending
- Basic computer knowledge
- Up to date on annual radiation protection in-services and provide documentation
- Ability to identify equipment problems and correcting or notifying team leader
