Job Summary
CH Wireline Operator role performing Cased Hole Wireline operations, including learning job preparation and executing safe operations, reporting to crew leader and operations management. Responsibilities include safetly operating heavy equipment used in wireline operations, assisting in pre-job load-outs and equipment readiness, following all policies and procedures, identifying issues and reporting to appropriate departments, going on-call and dispatch to job sites, maintaining training qualifications and staying current on third-party and company training, and performing duties to support company objectives and values. Required/related skills include operation of heavy equipment, load/transport/assemble perforating and plug setting equipment, strong communication, ability to read and interpret documents and instructions, problem-solving in field conditions, and capability to obtain necessary licenses and certifications (CDL, Hazmat, BATFE clearance) within company timelines, plus physical ability for demanding field tasks.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED or Undergraduate degree (degree in Geology or Engineering preferred)
- Possess or obtain a CDL and Hazmat endorsement license within the company standard timeline
- Possess or obtain company-specific certifications or requirements related to the operation of crane and pressure control equipment
- Possess or obtain BATFE clearance for Employee Possessor of explosives
- Prior wireline operator experience preferred
- Ability to drive and operate equipment under various working conditions
- Ability to meet job schedule deadlines with dependability and consistency
