Job Summary
CH Field Engineer oversees field operations in Towanda, PA, including planning and preparation for well-site operations, pre-job load-out checks, and dispatch to job sites. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining heavy equipment for wireline services, performing cement bond logs and gamma ray logs, providing perforation and setting services for completions, training and mentoring field personnel, enforcing safety and company policies, on-call dispatch, and timely submission of reports. Must lead and coach teams, stay current on training programs, and ensure compliance with DOT and explosives safety regulations while maintaining equipment and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED
- Undergraduate degree in Geology or Engineering preferred
- Class C w/Hazmat CDL license
- Must be able to read and interpret safety manuals, operational instructions, and policies/procedures
- Must be able to take the lead in effectively communicating with peers, subordinates, and supervisors
- Ability to apply advanced math skills to practical situations
- Ability to solve problems in practical field situations and interpret data presented in written, diagrammatic or schedule form
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Geology or Engineering (preferred)
- High School/GED
- Class C with Hazmat CDL license
- Ability to read and interpret safety manuals and operational instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills in practical field settings
- Ability to apply advanced math to practical situations
- Experience leading and communicating with peers, subordinates, and supervisors
- Willingness to perform manual labor and physical tasks

- Experience with wireline operations and field equipment
